If you begin to feel unwell while working report to your Manager. You will be relocated to an isolated office while awaiting medical advice. You can call healthdirect on 1800 022 222. They will be able to discuss your symptoms and travel history with you to help decide if COVID-19 testing is recommended.
We continue to communicate our response to COVID-19 in line with WHO and Australian Health Department guidance, this includes restricting access from overseas travel. If visitors or family are unwell and have recently travelled overseas, do not come to work. Contact your manager about working from home options.
Once 14 days have passed since you arrived home from overseas, you have passed the time in which you would become sick if you were exposed to COVID-19 when you were in the affected country. If you are still completely well 14 days after you left the overseas country then you will not get COVID-19
If you have been anywhere overseas in the last 14 days (including transit), you should stay at home and isolate yourself for 14 days after you arrived home. You should watch out for symptoms. If you are at home due to illness you are not expected to be working. You should follow usual communication practice to advise of absence and expected timeframe before returning to work. If you are working from home you must remain contactable and clarify with your manager how and when you will connect.
No. If you are feeling unwell, even if you have not travelled, please stay at home. You must also inform your line manager. Do not return to work until you have been symptom free for at least 24 hours. If you develop a fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical care.
